About Us

The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area was chartered on October 30, 1989 as an independent Kidney Foundation. The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area receives no funding from the National Kidney Foundation, nor does it participate in any National Kidney Foundation programs.

The mission of The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area is to provide help and information to those afflicted by kidney disease. Our vision is to be the leading resource of kidney related support in the greater Chattanooga area including: patient assistance, education, awareness, and prevention that improve the community's quality of life.

The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area is made up of five different divisions - Public Education, Patient Services, Community Services, Fund Raising, and Management & General. Public Education and Patient Services are the two primary focuses with Public Education making up 23% of the year's expenses and Patient Services making up 67%.

Kidney disease oftens leaves families financially devastated. In support of these families and those coping with kidney disease, The Kidney Foundation provides numerous programs and services to aid these families and patients. By operating as an independent Kidney Foundation, we are able to provide more financial assistance to our area patients.

If you would like to help in our efforts to provide the best possible help and information to those afflicted with kidney disease, please donate now.
