More Than 20 million Americans of all ages and races, from all walks of life suffer from kidney and urinary tract related diseases.

Approximately 230,000 Americans suffering from chronic renal diseases depended on an artificial kidney machine to stay alive.

More than 12,500 patients received a kidney transplant yearly. Today nearly 45,000 are waiting because of lack of suitable donors. Nearly 250 people in our area have received transplants and 53 patients are on the waiting list.
