Based on the popular television show, Dancing With The Stars, local celebrities put on their dancing shoes and dazzle fans alongside professional dancers for this daring dance off.

  • What Should I Wear To Dare To Dance?

    Dare to Dance is a semi-formal to formal event. Men are encouraged to wear a jacket. Sport Coats & Tuxedos are welcome. Ladies wear nice evening wear and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Ballroom Dance Shoes are allowed on the dance floor if you wish to bring those with you.

  • What Does My Ticket Include?

    All tickets include a full dinner and are seated at a table, a keepsake program, admission to the After-Party, plus all of the exciting activities around the Ballroom!  

    VIP Guests will also receive admission to a Private Pre-Show Cocktail Reception, as well as drinks of your choice and souvenirs at your table.

    Grand Ballroom Guests will also receive a drink of your choice and a souvenir per guest at purchased tables.  

    Gallery Guests will also receive a drink of your choice and a souvenir.  

  • What Time Do I Arrive At Dare To Dance?

    The doors will open at 5:30 pm and the evening will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Grand Ballroom and Gallery Seating guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food, beverage, and dancing opportunities prior to the event. 

    VIP Guests are invited to the Mark Hite VIP Cocktail Party beginning at 5:00 pm. 

  • Is Dare to Dance A Kid Friendly Event?

    Dare to Dance is geared more toward adults, but children accompanied by an adult are always welcome. There is no separate ticket price for children.

  • If I am unable to attend after my ticket or table purchase, can I get a refund?

    Unfortunately, all sales are final and no refunds will be given.   

  • Wheelchair Accessible?

    All seating options are wheelchair accessible.

  • Do You Accept Credit Cards & Will There Be An ATM On Site?

    Yes, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks and cash are accepted for PEOPLE'S CHOICE DONATIONS. Credit cards are not accepted at the bars, which are run by the Chattanooga Convention Center.  An ATM is located inside the Convention Center, but not inside the Exhibit Hall. We encourage you to bring cash to enjoy the cash bar and to vote for your favorite couples.

  • How Do I Vote?

    Every vote counts and can be the deciding factor in how your favorite couple places in Dare to Dance.  Cast your online vote for $1 a vote by using the above link. You can place cash or checks into the collection jar for your favorite couple at the Dare to Dance Voting Station. You may call the Kidney Foundation Office to charge your vote by phone 423-265-4397.

  • Is My Donation Tax Deductible?

    Yes, all online, cash, credit card, and check donations or votes are tax deductible. A percentage of your ticket purchase is tax deductible. Contributions are tax exempt as permitted under current tax law with the fair market value of one Dare to Dance Ticket (or multiplied times 4 for a table purchase).   • What Is The Policy of Photos and Filming?

    We encourage you to make photos and videos during the evening. We request that you use your best judgement and courtesy to our dancing cast when posting these items online.  We also ask that you respect all guests, at the event, and not prohibit their view with your attempt to capture photos or videos. The Kidney Foundation reserves the right to request any unflattering photos or videos to be removed from online postings.
