Ways to Give

Every Dollar Stays Local. Every Gift Saves Lives.

When you give to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, you're not supporting a distant cause – you're helping your neighbors, your coworkers, and your community members facing kidney disease. Because we're completely independent and local, 100% of your donation stays right here in Chattanooga to provide immediate, tangible help.

Three Ways to Give. Maximum Impact.

Choose the giving option that works best for your lifestyle and commitment level:

One-Time Gift

Perfect for immediate impact or memorial/tribute giving. Your one-time gift provides immediate assistance to kidney patients who need help today with transportation, utilities, medical equipment, or emergency needs.

Impact Example: $50 provides transportation to life-saving dialysis treatments for one month.

Monthly Giving

Join our "Steady Support" program with automatic monthly gifts. Monthly giving provides predictable funding that allows us to commit to ongoing patient assistance without worrying about fundraising fluctuations.

Impact Example: $25/month provides a blood pressure monitor.

Roundup Giving

Set your monthly limit ($10, $25, $50, or $100) and we'll automatically collect small amounts based on your credit card purchases, rounding up to the nearest dollar until you reach your monthly limit.

How it works: If your monthly limit is $25 and your coffee costs $4.50, we'll collect the extra $0.50. This continues until you've given $25 for the month, then resets the next month.

Common Questions About Giving

  • Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tax ID: 62-1410005. You'll receive a donation receipt for tax purposes. Any donation not associated with an event ticket or sponsorship is 100% tax-deductible.

  • Can I specify how my donation is used?

While most donations support our general patient assistance fund, you can specify preferences for education programs, specific types of assistance, or memorial/tribute designations. Donations made to Adopt-A-Box directly support that program.

  • How often will you contact me?

We send a quarterly newsletter to all donors and occasional event invitations. You can adjust your communication preferences at any time.
